About OKHub

Whatever the problem is, we build for it.

OKHub Technology trains people and builds systems, out of the same building in Ibadan. Robotics and AI are part of that work. They are not the whole of it.

Where we are

Ibadan, Nigeria

Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria

What we do

Two things, in the same building

We train people in software and hardware, and we build systems for people who need them. Neither is the marketing arm of the other: the same engineers do both.

  • Cohort training that ships a real, working build before it certifies.
  • Client and product work across commerce, agriculture, automation, health, public sector, nonprofit, community, gaming, social impact, civic tech, education, language, media, computer vision, immersive, networking, and productivity.
  • Trainees work on real client problems, not simulated ones.

How we build

For the constraints that are actually there

Most of the places this software runs do not have the reliable power, bandwidth or budget that a lot of tooling assumes. We design for the network and hardware people actually have, not the ones we wish they had.

  • Offline-first where a connection cannot be guaranteed: data syncs when it returns.
  • Edge inference over cloud dependency, where the hardware allows it.
  • WhatsApp and SMS as first-class interfaces, because that is where the users already are.

In the room

Building Africa’s Future, Today.

We teach the skills, then build with them.

OKHub Technology trains people and builds systems, out of the same building in Ibadan. The work spans commerce, health, agriculture, civic tech and more. Robotics is one part of it, not the whole of it. Trainees work on real problems, not exercises invented for a classroom.

Mission

Give people the tools and the confidence to build.

Vision

Communities that build their own technology.

Why OKHub exists

Imported solutions do not survive local conditions. We build for the conditions we have.

Built in Nigeria

Every product in the catalogue solves a Nigerian problem, for Nigerian conditions.

Built for local rules

Software and hardware built to the regulations that actually apply, not retrofitted to them.

Teach it, build it, ship it

The same engineers who train a cohort ship the client work.

Community-first pedagogy

Students, schools and industry, in the same room.
